I've been working in the wedding industry for the past several years and have been in a good share of weddings, myself. At this point, nothing will surprise, throw or shock me. Don't put your fat bridesmaids in a sleeveless, baby pink dress!
I know it seems like you should not have to be told that, but some of you DO.
